Sloane's Christening Celebration

On Sunday, June 9th in Los Angeles at Second Baptist Church, Sloane's Christening took place. Sloane is blessed to have three Godparents. Nicole, a very close friend of mine since high school is one of the Godmother's, along with Eric, one of Ash's close friends since high school is her Godfather, and his wife Ranji, is Sloane's other Godmother.

Sloane will refer to Eric as her "Parrain" which is French for Godfather, and she will refer to Nicole and Ranji as "Nanan" which is French/Creole for Godmother.

After the Christening we had a lovely gathering of family and friends over to celebrate our commitment to God in raising Sloane in a Christian home. We were also blessed to have our wedding photographer Sir Harrison take photos as well.

It was truly a joyous occasion! Though Sloane may not remember the event, we know that the photos as well as our sharing of the day with her when she gets older, will be one that she will treasure as much as we cherish her.
